Public Speaking Testimonials

“Nadine was a guest speaker at the Opening of the virtual Green Week 2020 “A New Beginning for People and Nature”, where she presented in a very engaging and assertive manner the perspective of young environmental entrepreneurs. Her stage partners were high officials from the European Commission, representatives of the private sector and NGOs. Her valuable participation helped to make the conference a success.”

Gilles Laroche
Head of Unit, European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation

“a wonderfully entertaining, informative and thought-provoking talk. To be able to make your scientific research so engaging and accessible is a wonderful thing, and I know many of us will have come away with new, valuable insights into the world of bumble bees especially, and filled with renewed enthusiasm for getting out and walking the walk, with more open eyes. Thank you for so inspiringly widening our horizons... and re-igniting our curiosity.”

A Unique Teambuilding Game Inspired by Honeybees

Imagine a world where your team mirrors the incredible decision-making process of honeybees in crisis situations. The Hive guides participants to better understand their own communication patterns, decision-making processes, and leadership styles by tapping into the collective behavior of bees. It’s an unparalleled way to build and enhance team dynamics, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

The Hive is more than just a game—it’s an interactive performance that immerses participants, using social biomimicry to unlock the secrets of collective intelligence, communication, and nature-based leadership.

Leadership and CommunicationLearn to lead like bees: through trust and enhanced communication skills.

Your CER Boost for Biodiversity

Testimonials on The Hive

I was fascinated how they shared knowledge about bees while taking those examples to translate into human behaviour. That is something I have never seen before. The analogies helped me to understand teams from a different perspective. Now I use the lessons in my work as a facilitator and can say: this workshop was really inspiring! I can highly recommend this experience to everybody who wants to know how to engage others in teamwork. The Pollinator Ambassadors put us into a challenging situation! Everybody had different ideas and priorities, but we negotiated and took decisions as a team. This way we got to know each other from different sides. And laughed a lot! It helped me to understand different social dynamics that exist in teams. We started as a group of strangers and ended up as a team having created an experience to remember.

The two are great teachers and managed to keep my attention because the content was so interesting and the atmosphere so warm and engaging. You can tell that the two are passionate and genuine about sustainable beekeeping and the pollinators in the world as it shows in the work that they put into every workshop!

“Thank you so much for such wonderful training! It was very interesting and a lot of fun. Now, I have more understanding of collective decision making, which I am looking forward to applying to some of my current challenges - thank you for this, too!”

"I knew how important bees are for the world. But through the workshop I learned not only about their importance, but also how interesting and amazing bees are! "Oh wow, really?!" Was a common reaction as Pollinator Ambassadors were teaching me and others about the bees and their lives"

Testimonials on the Systems Thinking Workshop

“Nadine conducted a Systems Thinking workshop for the Arts of Change program. This workshop played a vital role in helping participants understand the complexities of the socio-ecological crisis at a deeper level. It empowered them to localize their ideas and actions by utilizing a map-based "iceberg model" for impact assessment and reflection before making project decisions”.

he design Nadine Schuller has developed showed great creativity, attention to detail and very good understanding of such methods as systems thinking. More importantly, she was able to explain and use them together with citizens in developing ideas for local biodiversity interventions, which shows her ability to translate complex research approaches into the everyday context."
