Results
Successful Project Handover: By the end of 2019, we successfully transitioned the project to new volunteers, who were trained in beekeeping and are still running the project today. This ensured the continuity and longevity of the initiative.
Ongoing Collaboration: ne of the most rewarding outcomes was connecting the youth with local beekeeping associations, building a bridge between the new generation of beekeepers and established networks. This ongoing collaboration remains a testament to the lasting impact of the project.
Youth Empowerment: Local youth not only gained beekeeping knowledge but also developed essential skills in entrepreneurship, from product development to marketing, ensuring the sustainability of their future projects.
Local & Global Impact: The combination of local beekeeping knowledge and entrepreneurial skill development has placed the project in a strong position to contribute to both local sustainability efforts and the broader movement of youth-led ecological initiatives.
Community & Market Integration: The Madhu brand and the youth-run beekeeping initiative have become integrated into local markets, with products now being sold at local events, contributing to the local economy and raising awareness about pollinator protection.

This Project is funded by the European Union.
