  • Co-Founding: 
  • Support with co-founding Biodiversity Action Europe (BAE) as a charitable association in Austria
  • Call for Action: Co-Writing the Call for Action, a foundational document structured around three pillars: Engage, Enforce, and Enable Biodiversity. This call served as the guiding framework for the initiative’s campaigns.
  • Campaign Development and Youth Advocacy Reaching out to various biodiversity-focused initiatives and organizations to form a broad coalition of youth groups.
  • Policy Engagement: Design of the Opening Panel of the 2020 EU Green Week, led by youth.

Lights Off Session

A key achievement was an artistic and performative approach to conferences. For decades, conferences like the Biodiversity COP, while well-intended, fail to reach the audiences’ emotions. We dared to break this pattern and convinced the organisers of one of the largest conferences on EU’s sustainable development, to have Commissioner Sinkevisius meditate on biodiversity on stage.

Opening Session - A New Beginning

  • Pollinator Ambassadors joined the EU Green Week’s Opening Panel representing youth
  • alongside the European Environmental Agency, Danone, and Bird Life International.
